中日駐英大使互罵「佛地魔」

中國和日本的島嶼主權爭議和緊張關係，延燒到英國。中日兩國駐英大使在英國媒體唇槍舌戰，各自指責對方是英國作家JK羅琳《哈利波特》小說中「歷史上最危險的黑巫師」─佛地魔。

繼中國駐英大使劉曉明2日在英國《每日電訊報》發表署名文章「中英共同贏得了戰爭」，批評日相安倍晉三參拜靖國神社，形容軍國主義是日本的「佛地魔」，而靖國神社則代表著日本靈魂中最黑暗的部分後，日本駐英國大使林景一(Hayashi Keiichi)，6日也在《每日電訊報》上發表署名文章，則直接指稱 ，中國可能成為亞洲的「佛地魔」。

林景一在「中國成為亞洲佛地魔風險」文章反唇相譏，指中國目前面臨著兩個選擇，「一個選擇是依照法治尋求對話；另一個選擇是放任軍備競賽和加劇緊張局勢，成為區域內的佛地魔。」

文章中，對於日本首相安倍晉三參拜靖國神社，林景一說，僅是為了向戰爭死難者的亡靈表達敬意和祈禱，決不是為了去拜祭戰犯和讚美軍國主義，他強調，這樣的參拜不會改變日本對和平和民主的承諾。

他說，中國正試圖以武力和威脅手段改變現狀，中國的行徑，不但引起日本關切，也令中國在東海和南海其他鄰國感到關切。

就在林景一這篇文章發表前夕，中國駐英大使劉曉明1日才在英國《每日電訊報》發表署名文章，文中劉曉明用「佛地魔」形象，稱若日本軍國主義像陰魂不散的「佛地魔」，那麼靖國神社就是其魂器之一，而日本首相安倍晉三所做的，正是讓日本軍國主義的幽靈再次抬頭。
