【綜合報導】就在政壇「監聽 / 關說」風暴愈演愈烈的同時，當事人立法院長王金平卻又因為「女兒婚宴地點交通不便」，無法應馬總統要求提前返台說明因應，讓外界十分好奇，王院長女兒是在哪個「神秘又偏僻的好地方」辦理喜宴。

《中央社》稍早報導，王院長是在馬來西亞邦喀島的「綠中海度假村」(Pangkor Laut Resort)，為次女王馨淳主持婚禮。綠中海度假村是大馬最頂級的私人度假島嶼，被稱為是「世界最浪漫的海島」，還曾被票選為全球第3的島嶼度假觀光勝地。此處除了風景優美，更重要的是隱秘性極佳，只有少數專機、直升機或遊艇能從吉隆坡、新加坡等地前往。就連已故的「3大男高音」之一的聲樂家帕華洛帝(Luciano Pavarotti)，都曾受邀在此演唱，並曾盛讚此處：「當這上天賜與凡間的美麗，天堂出現在我眼前，我的眼淚幾乎奪眶而出。」這段話被印在度假村宣傳手冊中。
